Here at JuJu were not averse to a bit of publicity. You may have seen us in various national newspapers some years back, when we were threatened with arrest over some rather naughty baby t shirts that Tim was designing and printing. As a result of their notoriety the t shirts ended up on ITVs Loose Women and being discussed on Channel 5s The Wright Stuff. We had people nationwide phoning us requesting to buy the outrageous t shirts. Mary Godmother to the rescue And then, a back in 2007 we were having a tough old time of it when retail guru, Mary Portas and the BBC stepped into the breach to film the first ever episode of Mary Queen of Shops. JuJu had been trading for 13 years and some wizzo new ideas from the soon-to-be advisor to the Prime Minister were not going to be sniffed at. So several traumatic weeks of filming later, in the spring of 2007, JuJu re-opened its newly revamped doors to the world. The day after the programme aired on prime time BBC2 most of the world tried to get into the shop and over the course of the next 12 months the remainder of the planet paid JuJu a visit. The Business went from strength to strength and today we find ourselves just about as busy as we can be without going slightly mad. JuJu in 2012 Today we love the search for new and exciting labels and are constantly on the lookout for small independent, up-and-coming designers by the way if you are one give us a call. And thats JuJu in a nutshell...we want to bring you new and exciting takes on current fashion trends. We want to bring to you labels you have not seen before and certainly labels you wont find on the high street. Infact you can help us evolve by e-mailing us suggestions if you have seen something we should be stocking. Wed love that.
